Kieron Tyler has contributed to Britain’s MOJO magazine since 1999. He is the author of Smashing It Up: A Decade of Chaos With The Damned, the critically acclaimed biography of seminal British punk band The Damned.

 

His writing has also appeared in Q, The Guardian, The Independent, i (the newspaper), France’s Les Inrockuptibles, Finland’s Rumba, Music Week and Billboard. He also writes for The Arts Desk, the UK's first professional critical website and winner of the Best Specialist Journalism Site at the Online Media Awards 2012.

He consults for major and independent labels on catalogue reissues. His own imprint RPM International is dedicated to non-UK, non-American music. In the field of music PR, campaigns worked on include a-ha, Tuulikki Bartosik, The Courettes, Lou Doillon, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Morten Harket, Mari Kalkun, Lykke Li, Alina Orlova, Wardruna and Hindi Zahra.
